A recent research shows that the US consumers spend more than five hours each day interacting with mobile or other similar devices.
Now a days’ the connected travellers’ spend more time on mobile and their anticipations are growing as well. According to a latest Google survey it has been found that 90% of consumers booking or researching travel are through mobile devices – like smartphones or tablets and have a tendency to switch to a different website or app if their requirements aren’t met instantly.
It is evident that now a days travellers do their business mostly on mobiles or other such devices but if they had a bad experience they take no time to check into another travel company which leads to low customer loyalty which is a problem for the travel industry
In order to keep quality and long term- relationships with existing and future customers travel companies need to shift their focus from simply offering mobile options to optimizing customer experiences and personalized features to match up with consumer interests.
