Business Need

Client needs an automated process to manage their organizational functions which include adoption of children, payment transactions, project management, budget analysis & report generation. This application will oversee the entire functioning and projects of the client and data being received from its partner organization spread across 20 countries.

The Challenge

The application is to be engineered for a large organization and it has to be accurate and flexible. This client server application should have the performance and must cover up all the functionalities needed. The client also needed to integrate this application with Microsoft Office Tools.

The Client

Woord en Daad is a Christian charitable relief organization based in The Netherlands and functioning in more than 20 countries across the globe. W&D works with a budget approximate to 20 million Euros and works together with more than 30 partner organizations to provide aid and relief to the needy people. The Dutch government also supports them by providing aids to various activities of the organization.

The Solution

We crafted an intranet application that provides support for the entire office automation program, which has both authentication and authorization roles. This three-tier architecture has six major modules that will communicate to each other by using object oriented properties and methods. A strong database structure is used with 64 tables and data is manipulated using stored procedures and has a powerful provision to encrypt confidential data. This application can interact with MS Office files and external devices like printers & scanners.
